Gilpin History Museum

Hours:  Memorial Day Weekend through end of September, daily 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  October through Memorial Day Weekend, by appointment or through the Tour Office for groups of 2 or more.

Cost:  Adults $10, children 12 and under free

Directions:  From I-70, take the Central City Parkway.  At the third stop sign in Central City turn left onto Eureka Street.  Gu up to County Road Street/Clara Brown Way, and turn right.  Then take the first right onto East First High Street.  The museum is about a block and a half down.  From Black Hawk, take Lawrence Street to Central City, turn right on Church Street, and then left on East First High.  There is free street parking in front of the museum.
