Gilpin History Museum
228 E. First High St., Central City
Admission Fees:
$10 per person.  Children 12 and under free.

​Hours:

May 25-September 29, Open Daily 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  

All other times by appointment or request (for groups of 5 or more) at the tour office.

Directions:

From Central City Pkwy, at the 2nd stop sign, turn right on Gregory St.

Turn left at the Grand Z Casino (D St.) and left again onto Lawrence St.

Turn right at Church St. (museum sign) and then left onto E First High St.

Free parking on the street in front of the museum. 

 

Thomas House
209 Eureka St., Central City

​Admission Fees:
$10 per person. 
Children 12 and under free.

​Hours:

Tours conducted year round from Washington Hall

May 27-October 1 open daily 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; until May 26 and after October 2, Tuesday-Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Purchase tickets at Washington Hall

Directions:

Use the same directions as the History Museum except continue on Lawrence St. which will turn into Eureka St.

It will be on the right, less than 1/2 mile up the road.

Park in front of the Teller House or at the Century Casino Parking Garage.

Admission Fees: 
$5 per person. Children 12 and under free.

Hours:

By appointment only.  

Directions:

From Central City Pkwy take the Nevadaville exit. Then continue on this road and take the 2nd right turn (follow signs on road).

 

Washington Hall

117 Eureka St., Central City

Hours:

Tuesday-Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. until May 25 and after September 29; May 25-September 29 open daily 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Directions:

Use the same directions as the History Museum except continue on Lawrence St. which will turn into Eureka St.

It will be on the right, less than 1/4 mile up the road, across the street from the Opera House.
